MADE FRESH DAILY - Lightly

Cindy Lee Davies started Lightly back in 2005 and I just love her work. She draws inspiration from nostalgia, romance and delicacy. She has done some beautiful pieces out of recycled china and her collection has also now grown to include lighting.

MADE FRESH DAILY - artKAJE

Brisbane based artist Kelli Crawford and none other than my beautiful sister from artKAJE. Kelli produces graphically bold canvas prints that are inspired by nature and colour experimentation. Utilising traditional wood block and even potatoe stamping techniques and underpinned with a keen eye for colour combinations, some beautiful work is the result. She can be contacted via her ETSY page. Ask Kelli about a custom piece to suit your home. Her art is simple, stylish and affordable  http://www.artkaje.etsy.com/

MADE FRESH DAILY - me and amber

I found the cutest little notebooks in a store on my lunch break today so I couldn't resist looking them up and sharing them with you. Me and amber, a Sydney duo evolved from a love of design and image-making. They produce a range of gorgeous hand screenprinted greeting cards (100% recycled paper), limited edition artworks, notebooks and magnets. Their latest addition is a beautiful collection of screenprinted linen tea towels and cushions, featuring signature silhouette graphics with touches of typographic elements from books. Check out their Blue Caravan shop at http://www.bluecaravan.net/me-and-amber/

LESSONS - Learn 2 Screen Print

Today I had the pleasure of attending a half day screen printing class with the lovely Laura Day from Learn 2 Screen Print in Pascoe Vale South. I found Laura's class excellent and would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn. She has a large light filled studio space with ample room and table space to spread out as well as comfortable lounges to enjoy a cuppa tea and biscuit before you start on your next print. http://www.learn2screenprint.com.au/
